Psalm 3 New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 3[a]

A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.

1 Lord, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
“God will not deliver him.”[b]
3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
4 I call out to the Lord,
and he answers me from his holy mountain.
5 I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
6 I will not fear though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.
7 Arise, Lord!
Deliver me, my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.
8 From the Lord comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people.

[a] Psalm 3:1 In Hebrew texts 3:1-8 is numbered 3:2-9.
[b] Psalm 3:2 The Hebrew has Selah (a word of uncertain meaning) here and at the end of verses 4 and 8.

One of my favorite bands are Pantera. The reason this band is one f my favorite bands is because they had Dimebag Darrell the best guitarist in the world who played the best guitar solo in the universe in the song Floods. His guitar solo is so awesome that no one could ever master it ever. Dimebag is dead now and was murdered on stage. Below is an article on his death:

They were formed in 1981 by the Abbott brothers. Vinnie Paul(drums) and Dimebag Darrell (guitar), along with the vocalist Terry Glaze. Bassist Rex Brown joined the band the next year. Pantera had Terry replaced looking for a new and heavier sound in 1987 with Phil Anselmo as the new vocalist.

They have also been called one of the pioneers of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal.Pantera played a style of metal music which has been termed by journalists as groove metal, thrash metal, heavy metal and alternative metal. Their early material is considered glam metal.

Pantera went on hiatus in 2001, but was disbanded by the Abbott brothers in 2003 after concluding Anselmo would not return to the band. The Abbott brothers went on and subsequently formed Damageplan, while Anselmo began work on several side projects, including Down in which Rex Brown joined as well. Any hopes of a reunion were lost on December 8, 2004, when Dimebag Darrell was shot and killed onstage by a deranged fan during a Damageplan concert in Columbus, Ohio.
